Parent Teacher Connection (PTC)

The PTC brings families and staff together to support OCS through events, fundraisers, and volunteer service. Every OCS family is part of the PTC, and your involvement helps strengthen our community.

  • Meetings: 1st Monday of each month at 6:00 PM (above main office)

  • How We Help: Organize events, support teachers, build community

  • How to Join: Attend a meeting, volunteer for a project, or contribute to school events

Parent Service Hours

To help keep tuition affordable, each family contributes 10 parent service hours per quarter.

*An IBC/OCS background check is required for all adults who volunteer to work with students in the classroom or playground. Supply your information using this form or contact the school office to submit your background check.

Hours can be earned through:

On-campus*

  • Classroom aide

  • Playground supervision

  • Maintenance

  • Tutoring

Donations

  • Materials purchased for the school (credited at $15/hr)

Off-campus

  • Fundraiser prep

  • Picking up pizza orders

  • Preparing meals for teacher work days

  • Helping teachers from home

Hours roll over each quarter (but not year to year). Remember to log your time in the school office binder or submit receipts for credit.
